Route details:
You will fly up north to Punta Negra. On the way you will see Mount Aconcagua (6961m), the highest mountain of the American continent. Then you will fly over the El Leoncito National Park and experience a water landing in Punta Negra. After lunch in Punta Negra we continue straight to the north and you will enjoy the Valle de la Luna and Talampaya National Park before landing in Villa Union. From there you will have a private transit by bus (around 30 Minutes) to explore the Valle de la Luna and Talampaya National Park from the ground to get another stunning perspective. You will spend the night in a private accommodation in Chilecito. From there you will enjoy the Ruta de los Seismiles, where you can see a lot of volcanoes with elevations above 6000m. including the highest volcano above sea level called Volcan Nevado Ojos del Salado (6891m.).
Continued by flying over several breathtaking and high elevation salt lakes like Salar de Antofalla or Salar del Hombre Muerto. Your final destination that day will be in Cafayate, the heart of the famous Valles Calchaquíes. The beautiful region is known for its vineyards, where you have the chance to spend the night in an exclusive accommodation surrounded by grape plantations. The next day you will fly further up north to the Argentinian Altiplano. You will enjoy a low level flight over Salinas Grandes, a salt lake with + 80 km length. Explore local wildlife such as flamingos and guanacos. After that we will turn southeast bound to Quebrada de Humahuaca Valley which was declared a UNESCO world heritage. You will see the colorful Cerro de los Siete Colores in Purmamarca and the Pucarà Tilcara which is one of the many pre hispanic local archeological sites.
Your adventure will continue south bound to Lago Cabra Corral. From there you will fly to Termas Rio Hondo and Dique Molinos. On the way back to Mendoza you will enjoy a low level flight over Sierra de las Quijadas National Park.
